Home Movies

Not too long ago I came up with this great idea to watch a movie at home with my boyfriend. We’d make a whole night of it – I’d cook dinner and we were going to get Ratattouie which was his favorite animated film. Somehow I got inspired that night to start my own business (I’d actually been trying to think of ideas for a while) – I was going to create gourmet movie watching baskets people could by at the grocery store right alongside their movie! We’d put hot chocolate and popcorn, of course, and some would be specialty based on the type of movie you were watching. There would be romantic baskets and action baskets…you get the point. My boyfriend helped me set the whole thing up from start to finish including looking into card services and we’re about to launch next week at a local grocery store. I wish I could tell you whether or not it works but I guess only time will tell! I’ll write another post to update y’all soon.

    Ladies Citizen Watches

    Looking at ladies watches lately and coming up empty? Believe me, I've been there.
      I've grown somewhat accustomed to using my cell phone as a time piece. Not because I don't have a watch, but because I don't have a watch that won't cause me to break out in a nickel allergy-induced rash! lol Not so cool. About 10 years ago, I developed this allergy. I can't even wear my engagement ring! We never purchased a wedding band either, so my ring finger is bare.
        I've been in the market for a new watch for some time now, but what I usually find are really cute watches that I can't wear. I love this sporty and rich looking titanium women's watch from Bluedial.com. It looks sleek and pretty at the same time, and would help immensely while at work as a para educator. I have a different student every hour and I'm constantly pulling my cell from my pocket to check the time. If I'm going to buy a watch (and believe me, I need to), I'd like to buy a Citizen's. I want quality that will last for years. Something that will be fashion-changing friendly (as I believe this one will).
          Would you believe this watch is even water resistant? Not that I'll be wearing it to the pool, but still nice to know! Additionally, the watches on this site ship free!

          Into Penny Actions? Tell Me About DealFun

          I'm new to the notion of penny auctions, so naturally would love to hear from anyone who has won an auction... or made a purchase from DealFun. It appears to be a great way to save money on things like iPad's, laptops, and all sorts of electronic devices, as well as jewelry and kid's toys.
            From what I can tell, you simply place your bid on any featured item of choice, then watch to see if anyone outbids you in the allotted time. If they do, you may continue your quest for said object by bidding another penny. You'll repeat this process, until the action concludes and a winner is awarded. If you aren't the winner, you may use your last bid amount as a discount towards the item you were after. So, let's say you're bidding on a Kindle which sells at action for $45 and your top bid was $44.94. You can use that dollar amount against the full price of a new Kindle... and snag it for just over $50. Not bad!

                From their website I see they have a beginner's auction, where you can brush up (or learn) your auctioning skills.
                  If you go to the auction page, it's sorta fun to watch the bidding. You can see it each time a new bid is placed as the bid amount increases and the clock starts over again. I'm watching an iPad which currently sits at just under $85. Sorta curious to see where the bidding stops! Call it research if you will... or perhaps entertainment. lol So far I'm not bidding, just watching with a certain degree of fascination.
