New Zealand Travel

As a child I dreamed of visiting Australia and New Zealand. Today I'm in my early 40's and have never set foot on foreign soil! So, I'm still dreaming. lol If only I'd won that 600 million dollar Powerball!

My husband has a friend from college who is from New Zealand. He met an American girl who was studying there, married her and then followed her back to the U.S. That was a couple decades ago and they are still here! Guess he likes the good 'ol USA! Still, he must miss the beautiful beaches of New Zealand, not to mention his family. I can't even imagine living so far away from my childhood home!

If I were planning a trip to New Zealand, I'd need to plan for air travel from my home to the coast, then from the coast to New Zealand. Talk about a long trip! I really don't have the budget or flexibility for travel at this point in my life, but planning out a trip could still be fun. It's sorta like window shopping, but without actually going anywhere!

I think it would be fun researching hotels, attractions, beaches, and the people of New Zealand. The best way to get to know a country is to experience it the way it's citizens do! I'd probably rent a car and do a lot of exploring.  Car Rental Auckland Airport is probably where I'd first look to pick up some wheels. I'd want to find something fuel efficient and reliable. If I were more daring and adventurous, I might even look at a motorcycle in New Zealand. It would be a great way to get around, using very little gas. If I weren't such a chicken or afraid of getting rained on that is!

What if I were wanting to live in New Zealand? Maybe for a few years? I'd then have to look at homes! Financing a home in New Zealand would be quite a journey in and of itself. I imagine financing a home there looks different than financing in the US. Just a guess!

In any case, I don't have any real plans to travel at the moment. Some day I'd like to take that dream vacation to Australia and New Zealand. I'd also love to travel through Western Europe, Israel, and Canada. My guess is a trip to Canada will come first! lol Best Blogger Tips

Prayers for Moore Oklahoma

Today's news coverage out of Oklahoma is nothing short of shocking and heartbreaking. We are praying for everyone affected by the tragic loss and devastation in America's heartland.

Life is a precious gift, we shouldn't take one minute for granted. Kiss and hold your children tight tonight and remind them they are dearly loved. Pray for those who have lost, especially those who have lost loved ones. Most especially those who have lost children. My heart is full for those grieving tonight.

This is a growing community, so you may or may not find exactly who you are looking for today, but the site has promise. In time, it could be a pretty hoping portal for engaging in real discussion with your favorite celebrities, or meeting new and upcoming talent.

I also couldn't help but notice there are contests running over at Celebstir. You can earn "cash, gifts, and exposure" by competing in business promoted contests. Nice! Everyone who knows me well knows I love a good contest. I've won a few giveaways over the years and intend to win a few more! We all want a little attention right? Businesses are no different. Finding a Criminal Lawyer

I am pretty clean cut and have never been in any trouble with the law. Additionally, no one in my immediate family has had run ins with the law. I guess we are a pretty boring brew... not that I'm complaining. The only time I ever think about the need for a good criminal lawyer is when I'm watching Nancy Grace, or an episode of Perry Mason. It all seems so very Hollywood and news magazine to me... rather than a true to life experience or possibility. At least not for me!

I do appreciate however that people make mistakes. And then there are those unfortunate souls who get charged with crimes they did not commit. There will always be a need for qualified criminal attorneys. I believe even the guilty are entitled to competent legal representation. We should all have equal access to a fair trial and I'd hate to live in a country where this wasn't the case.

If you are looking for a criminal lawyer in Raleigh, you may want to do a google search for Criminal Lawyer Raleigh.

Have you ever had to seek out a criminal lawyer? Either for yourself or for someone you love? I imagine it's an extremely desperate and scary situation. I know if it were one of my own children who needed legal council I'd want the very best lawyer my dollar could afford. Best Blogger Tips

Looking for Summer Activities with Your Kiddos? Why Not Cake Decorating?

There are dozens of summer programs for children... scouting camps, sporting camps, Bible camps, summer school classes, driver's education for our teens, maybe gymnastics or swimming lessons, but what about tapping into your child's creative side?

Have you considered cake decorating classes? Many hobby stores offer classes to adults and some even have workshops for children. It's worth looking into! If you cannot find a hobby store offering classes, do an Internet search or ask someone who dabbles in cake decorating to give a few lessons. Kids love to decorate cakes and cookies, and this is one activity you can enjoy together!

If you run short and can't find anyone willing to take on your youngster for a class, take the class yourself and bring that knowledge home with you! Buy a starter decorating kit from Wilton and teach your children how to make basic flowers, leaves, and stems. Let them play with shell boarders or create a design all their own.

Whatever you decide to do, have an amazing summer with your kiddos...
go make some memories together!  Best Blogger Tips

Car Accident Pain and Chiropractic Medicine in Jacksonville

When I was 29 and 6 months pregnant with my first child, I was sandwiched between two cars on a busy interstate highway while on my way to work. It was a rainy morning and the streets where slick with a mix of oil and water... common after a dry spell.  I remember being hit from behind twice. The second time I was struck I was turned in my seat, trying to look out my back window to access what had just happened. Being hit from behind in that awkward position with my torso twisted was just as big a jolt as the first hit, but it was that second strike that I felt in my back. It was the jolt that sent me to the hospital for an overnight observation.

I ended up being just fine, as did my son, but I had numerous people telling me to go to a chiropractor. Back then I was terrified of chiropractic medicine. So, I never went! I figured it wouldn't be safe to go while pregnant and once my son was born I put it completely out of my mind. Since then, I've lost my fear of chiropractors and have a great admiration and appreciation for the amazing things they can do... and undo!

Can I just share with everyone that after my accident I had back, neck, and shoulder pain for weeks?  My doctor told me it was impossible to know if that pain was from the accident or from being pregnant, but I could definitely tell the difference.

If you've been in a motor vehicle accident and are looking for a chiropractor in the Jacksonville area, you may want to google: Chiropractor Jacksonville Fl
