I like that this particular rack features the spices in their original containers too. I don't need fancy jars that require labeling. I move faster in the kitchen if I can see the manufacture label instead. Call me crazy!

I've been on diets since I was about 17... meaning I've always had to watch what I eat. I fight the battle of the bulge on a daily basis and have tried every type of dietary restriction-based diet there is... including low carb, low calorie, and low fat. Usually those diets work for a few months, but then I fizzle and the lbs find me again.
My most recent attempt to lose weight has been to use a Weight Watcher's book and calculator and try to follow the plan without actually joining. I lost 6 lbs in 2 weeks, then gained it all back in a moment of weakness. Ok.... it was actually several moments of weakness, but we did just celebrate Thanksgiving did we not? What's a girl to do? lol
I've tried Slim-Fast in the past... that and the Atkins products. I've enjoyed both, but as of late was leaning towards Atkins because their shakes had a higher protein content. Yesterday I tried the new and improved Slim Fast shake and was thrilled to find it contained 20 grams of protein... that's 5 more grams than Atkins! I also love their new sporty and resealable bottle. It's easy to manage while driving. Yes, I said while driving. I do that a lot these days. Just call me taxi cab mom.
Here's the best part though... the new and improved Slim Fast shakes are thicker and creamier than before and in fact are the best tasting diet shake I've ever had. That's huge! I tried the Creamy Milk Chocolate... I'm a simple sort of gal... gotta have my chocolate.
Slim-Fast also offers shakes in the following great flavors:
So where do you find these shakes? Check out the pharmacy/wellness section of your favorite grocer. I usually purchase my diet shakes at Walmart. You'll also want to look for other great products from Slim Fast like their 100 calorie snack bars.
Learn more about Slim Fast 3-2-1 plan online which allows you 3 snacks, 2 shakes or meal bars, and 1 sensible 500 calorie meal per day. Using their plan you'll not deny yourself the sweat tastes your craving, and you'll get the protein and calcium your body needs to stay healthy.

This is all new to me, perhaps I've just been living in a cave, but do you know about Gift Card weekend? Apparently a handful of select retailers participate in a special gift card incentive program offering recipients special offers. Gift cards purchased from these select retailers during the Christmas season and redeemed from January 6th through the 8th are eligible for certain incentives. Pretty interesting, wouldn't you agree?
If you're a gift giver, purchasing from these participating retailers gives your loved-one an extra bit of "special" if you will. lol Just be sure to tell them about Gift Card Weekend when they open their gift card. Some of the participating retailers include Lowe's, Adidas, Applebee's, Sephora, Subway, JCPenny and the Marriot, just to name a few.

So, what about the giveaway? This is the easiest kind of giveaway to enter. All you'll need to do is "like" Gift Card Weekend on Facebook. So long as you have a Facebook account, you're just a click away from entering to win one of 100 gift cards! Sweet! For every "like" you influence by sharing this giveaway with your friends on Facebook, you'll earn an extra entry.
Be sure to check the Facebook page often too... between December 10th and the 18th they'll be given out oodles of gift cards from fabulous retailers participating in Gift Card Weekend!
