I for one don't have "the right" spice rack. The racks we have come from our apartments... as in before we married. They're not awful, but in a way they are. The don't match anything else in our kitchen and I've really been wanting something sleek and fun. We have 2 wooden spinning racks that we purchased at Target years and years ago. They look great in a college apartment and I'd love to give them to a couple college students. Some of the original spices are still inside! lol In reality, we only use about 7 or 8 spices on a regular basis... so the 16 slotted spinner isn't really suited for us and why we have both spinners on our countertop is beyond me. We have 32 glass jars between 2 wooden spice racks, and I don't know why! lol
I'm not really into wall spice racks either. We simply don't have the wall space to spare. What I'd like to find is a kitchen spice rack that looks fresh, is made from glass and some sort of metal (lol), and has a simple and sleek appearance. Something that resembles nothing in my current kitchen (everything I own is sooo dated).
