Affordable and Fashionable Eyeglasses a Reality

I'm getting ready to order my first pair of eye glasses from Zenni Optical for two very important reasons. First of all, I can't see! I'm incredibly near-sighted and have been since the tender age of 7. Second reason is this... I don't want to pay hundreds of dollars for my glasses like I did a few years ago. I simply don't have the budget for that right now.

One of the reasons my glasses are several prescriptions behind the times is my frugal nature and the fact that until very recently I didn't know I had any other option than purchasing glasses direct from my eye care professional or from a retail chain at the mall. I LOVE that we live in a country with so many options... and a little friendly competition. lol

Zenni Optical offers really cute eyeglasses... and I'm talking lenses and frames for significantly less that what you'll find anywhere else. They can do this for a very simple reason. You see... they are the manufacturer, not the middle man. When you buy straight from the manufacturer you keep the extra would-be markup in your pocket!

I can't decorate cakes unless I can see what it is that I'm doing. As a frequent contact wearer, I find myself lost when I need to give my eyes a rest and have to bring out my ancient eyeglasses which not only do nothing for me, but probably account for more than a few headaches, since the prescription is years out of date.

The only challenge I may face when I contact my eye care professional is that apparently it can be a struggle acquiring your PD or Pupillary Distance, which is necessary for Zenni Optical to properly fit you. I'll let you know what happens with that! lol I was just at the eye doctor last month, but had 3 kids tugging on my shirt tale and didn't think it was the appropriate time to mess with requesting my information. Hoping a phone call can do the trick though!
